We’re looking forward to throwing open the doors at #ExploreAI on 26 September as part of European Researchers’ Night!

Get ready to challenge, inspire and inform yourself about how Artificial Intelligence is shaping the future of art and human creativity. We’ll be exploring what this means for artists and creators through a range of engaging, interactive experiences that push the boundaries of technology and imagination.

The doors open at the Douglas Hyde Gallery at 16:00 tomorrow, 26 Sept, and the pop-up exhibition will be open until 20:00.

 

What to Expect

 

Our full programme is packed with exciting activities, including:

  • Lost in Translation: An interactive game exploring AI and the Irish language.
  • Human or Machine? You Decide!: Can you tell AI-generated content from human-created?
  • The Art of Description: Find how AI could make museums more accessible for people with visual impairment.
  • Spirit of Radio: Hear how AI breathes new life into a vintage radio.
  • STARTS4Water: Explore how artists are using tech to tackle climate challenges.

That’s just a taste! We also have quizzes, pop-up talks, discussions, and hands-on activities for all ages.

Physical Access Information

#ExploreAI is situated in the Douglas Hyde Gallery on the campus of Trinity College Dublin (the entrance is on the left of the Nassau Street Gate).

Please note the following regarding physical access:

  • The front door is on the first floor level, leading to the reception desk and bookshop.
  • A staircase (16 steps) descends to the ground floor of Gallery.
  • Lift access to the lower floors of the Gallery is available in the Arts Building of Trinity College.
  • Assistance animals are always welcome.
