The VOICES Project was featured at the 14th Annual Tudor & Stuart Ireland Interdisciplinary Conference, held at Trinity College Dublin on 13th to 14th August 2026.
Organised by Deirdre Nic Chárthaigh of Trinity College Dublin’s Department of Irish and Celtic Languages, the conference was supported by the Trinity College Dublin AHSS Faculty Events Fund and Marsh’s Library.
The VOICES presentation showcased the work of team members Daniel Patterson, Claire McNulty, Madina Kurmangaliyeva, Donal Farrell, Lucy McKenna, Alex Randles, Donal Farrell, and Principal Investigator Jane Ohlmeyer. The project is pioneering the use of computational methods to analyse historical sources at scale, helping to uncover the experiences and lives of non-elite women in early modern Ireland.
Recordings of all conference presentations are now available online, including the VOICES Project talk, offering audiences an opportunity to explore the latest research and discussions from this year’s event.
