In October, The VIGILANT Project held its final General Assembly in Freiburg, hosted by Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg. Over two productive days, partners reflected on achievements, shared key lessons and outlined how to build on the project’s results in the years ahead.
After three years of collaboration, innovation and research, the project is coming to a close. Throughout the project, the consortium developed cutting-edge tools, shared insights at leading international events and built partnerships that will endure beyond the project’s formal end. The project will continue to strengthen Europe’s resilience against online disinformation and related criminal activity.
VIGILANT, a consortium of 17 European partners, develops advanced tools to help authorities detect and analyse disinformation linked to criminal activity on major online platforms, using AI to assess content across multiple languages and formats.
