On 20- 21st November 2023, Teresa Clifford and Gráinne Caulfield from the eStór team, based in the ADAPT Centre in DCU, travelled down to Little Island, Cork for the first joint SFI/IRC Research Summit. The theme of the Summit was Looking to the future, together, and eStór’s poster abstract was accepted to be displayed at the event, as eStór works to secure the digital future of the Irish language. eStór was the only poster present available entirely in Irish. Additionally, Teresa and Gráinne were interviewed in Irish about the eStór project by Ola Majekodunmi, known broadcaster, radio host and Gaeilgeoir, on what inspired them to go into this area of research, and more broadly, why research is valuable for Ireland.
