On 25th October Prof. Linda Hogan of ADAPT presented findings of the Creating Our Future national conversation on research to members of the Oireachtas.
Creating Our Future was a unique national brainstorm that generated more than 18,000 ideas on how research can create a better society. Running throughout autumn 2021, it was the first-of-its-kind public engagement dialogue to be undertaken in Ireland. All ideas submitted by the public were considered, analysed and synthesised by an independent Expert Committee. Prof. Hogan led this committee.
The outputs and recommendations from Creating Our Future are integrated into the Government’s new national research and innovation strategy Impact 2030.
