The IVI Summit 2025, themed Frontier AI, Data & Digital Transformation, brought together a vibrant community of thought leaders, researchers, and innovators from across academia, industry, and the public sector for a three-day event at Maynooth University from June 11th to 13th.
With over 50 expert speakers, 50 high-profile collaborators, and more than 200 attendees, the summit delivered a dynamic programme filled with opportunities to explore emerging research, forge new connections, and drive impactful collaboration across sectors.
The event opened with a high-level panel discussion on Advanced Digital Skills, followed by six hands-on co-creation workshops focused on digital transformation. These sessions set the tone for the summit, promoting engagement and practical insight-sharing among participants.
On the second day, keynote addresses and a strategic panel on Can Europe Lead Responsible AI? challenged attendees to reflect on Europe’s global role in setting ethical standards for AI. Three concurrent breakout sessions allowed for deep exploration of key topics shaping the digital future.
The final day of the summit encouraged attendees to reflect and ‘distil’ the innovative ideas shared throughout the event, focusing on how to translate insights into collaborative action moving forward.
A special highlight of the summit was the presentation of an IVI Award to ADAPT, recognising its long-term strategic collaboration and sustained support of the summit’s goals.
