Irish Sign Language (ISL) Tour of #ExploreAI

The image shows two presenters standing in front of a screen displaying the logo for "eSTÓR." One of the presenters is a man, using Irish Sign Language (ISL), while the other, a woman, is holding notes and speaking. Behind them is a banner for the ADAPT Centre, featuring the tagline "Engaging Content, Engaging People." The scene suggests a professional or educational presentation, possibly focused on technology, AI, or communication accessibility.

Join our two-part ISL-interpreted tours at 5:30pm and 6:30pm.

The first tour meets at the main entrance of Douglas Hyde Gallery in TCD at 5:30pm for a 45 minute tour of the #ExploreAI exhibit including interactive virtual reality exhibitions and pop-up talks in the AI Dilemma Café. The exhibit includes the Irish Sign Language STEM Glossary project. Join the ISL STEM Glossary team to explore different scientific topics, presented in Irish Sign Language (with English captions).

The second tour will leave at 6:30 from the main Douglas Hyde Gallery entrance again to take in other parts of European Researchers’ Night over on Front Square.

#ExploreAI is an interactive showcase of ADAPT, the Research Ireland-funded research centre’s cutting edge research on artificial intelligence (AI).To see the full programme, click here: https://www.adaptcentre.ie/explore-ai/
