DigiAcademy, an innovative start-up supported by the ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin, was featured at the MRL Digital & Innovation Summit 2025, held at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin last May.
Founded by Dr. Esther Murphy, DigiAcademy was selected to present as part of the Spotlight on Startups, sharing the stage with some of Ireland’s most promising ventures, including eAltra, Protex AI, Konree Innovation, NeuralBI, and HyperPath. The event brought together over 160 senior leaders, entrepreneurs, public sector innovators, policy influencers, social enterprises, and youth representatives, creating a dynamic space for collaboration and digital innovation.
Commended by the European Commission as a best-practice model, DigiAcademy is an accessible e-learning platform co-designed with and for individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and other accessibility needs. It transforms education and employment pathways by leveraging AI-powered adaptive learning to tailor experiences to each user’s abilities and pace. Through peer-led, video-based learning, DigiAcademy advances digital inclusion, well-being, and employability, a mission recognised internationally, including with the 2025 Social Impact Award.
