Cybersecurity Regulations for MSPs and MSSPs as Part of a Supply Chain

A roundtable exploring Cybersecurity Regulations for MSPs and MSSPs as Part of a Supply Chain will take place in Trinity College Dublin on the 28th of May.

The event will bring together representatives of ICT suppliers and Managed Service Providers and Managed Security Service Providers, particularly those working with essential or important entities under the NIS2 Directive. Participants will discuss how key cybersecurity regulations, including the NIS2 Directive, the Cyber Resilience Act and the Cybersecurity Act, are being understood and implemented in practice.

The roundtable will examine the complexity of compliance across ICT supply chains, including the relationships between suppliers, M(S)SPs and end customers. It will also explore legal and practical cybersecurity challenges, the distribution of responsibilities in the event of incidents, and how organisations can prepare for changing regulatory requirements.

The event forms part of the research project Regulation of ICT service providers in a cybersecurity perspective under European and Swiss law”, led by Dr Pauline Meyer and funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, along with Professor Maria Grazia Porcedda of the School of Law.
