Join us at Dublin’s National Concert Hall on May 22, 2025, for a free event discussing the impact of AI on music and creativity. This is an exploration and a call to action, highlighting both the threats and potential of AI within Ireland’s creative sectors. “Let’s make AI:OK for music and the creative sector” unites influential voices in AI, music, policy, and ethics to chart a responsible path for AI integration.

Dr. Martin Clancy has become a global voice in the movement for ethical AI in the creative industries – as a Senior AI Research Fellow at Insight Research Ireland Centre for Data Analytics at DCU and a Policy Fellow at Trinity College Dublin’s Long Room Hub, and supported by Enterprise Ireland and Research Ireland. Now, he’s bringing it all back home. Joining Martin on stage will be:

  • Prof. Noel O’Connor, CEO of Insight Research Ireland Centre for Data Analytics
  • Anna McPartlin Best selling author, film producer, screenwriter RTE’s ‘Gone’
  • Ciaran Conroy, Acting CEO of the Association of Independent Music Ireland (AIM)

Together, they will outline why now is the time to act—and how we can make AI truly “OK” for Ireland’s creative sector.

Box office for this event opens on Tuesday 13th of May. Register here.

This event is co-organised by Insight Research Ireland Centre for Data Analytics and ADAPT Research Ireland Centre for AI-Driven Digital Content Technology.
