10 November 2023

The annual Irish Times Innovation awards have announced 15 finalists across five categories and among them is ai mapit, a spinout company from the SFI ADAPT Centre at Trinity College Dublin which launched into the global geographic information systems (GIS) market earlier this year with its revolutionary geotagging solution.  ai mapit was shortlisted in the New Frontiers category.  The winners will be announced on November 15th.

According to the Irish Times, finalists can range from college spin-outs and kitchen table start-ups through to major corporates, charities and sporting/cultural organisations. The common thread through them all is that they have delivered positive change with an innovative product or process.
