This month ADAPT honored two outgoing members of its strategic Boards for their contributions and service.
David MacDonald, Chair of ADAPT’s Governance Board and Lauri Karttunen a member of ADAPT’s Scientific Advisory Board, both completed 12 years of service during which time they helped advise ADAPT through major funding wins.
Speaking at an event to thank both members, Professor Andy Way, Deputy Director of ADAPT and Professor of Computing at DCU said: “On behalf of the entire ADAPT community we extend our sincere thanks and gratitude to our retiring members. Under their stewardship, ADAPT has achieved a great deal of growth and development. We have benefitted from their expertise, passion and time over the past twelve years and we look forward to keeping them updated on ADAPT as we progress into a new era of growth.”
ADAPT’s Governance and Scientific Advisory Boards are made up with experts in the field of digital media and AI and reflect leading companies in the area.
