The Top Women Tech Summit took place on 14th December in Brussels and is an invitation-only international recruitment and networking event reserved exclusively to women with a background in tech. ADAPT PhD student, Eva Vanmassenhove, was one of only 100 individuals invited to this event.
The goal of the event is to give attendees the opportunity to meet with senior recruiters from some of the top companies in the world and network with other leading women working in technology areas. The organisers goal is to have each attendee ‘learn from leading international professionals, explore new and exciting career paths, get international exposure and grow your network’.
Eva is an ADAPT PhD student at DCU. She completed a MA degree in French and Spanish Linguistics and Literature (2013) and a MSc in Artificial Intelligence (2014) at KULeuven, Belgium. Currently, she works on Machine Translation and focuses on how to integrate more linguistic knowledge into a Machine Translation system.
