Haithem Afli and his student, Donal Madden, represented the ADAPT Centre of Cork Institute of Technology at a competition on March 6th. They won the President’s Award for €1000. Their winning project, Inline.AI, seeks to leverage the power of Artificial Intelligence and BlockChain technology that will power the transformation of production into Industry 4.0. Afli and Madden plan to apply for an EI Com Fund application to continue their work.
Total there were 45 entries from 168 students from across the college that participated in the competition. 9 awards were given out in total to 8 different projects.
