Six papers featuring ADAPT researchers have been accepted to the MT Summit 2025, one of the world’s premier conferences in machine translation and natural language processing. The summit will take place in Geneva this June, bringing together global experts to explore the latest innovations in MT.
The lead paper, “Extending CREAMT: Leveraging Large Language Models for Literary Translation Post-Editing,” is the result of a collaborative project led by Antonio Castaldo, a PhD researcher from the University of Naples L’Orientale whose research was primarily conducted during his time at ADAPT under the co-supervision of Dr Sheila Castilho, DCU. The multidisciplinary team also includes Dr Sheila Castilho and Joss Moorkens from DCU, and Johanna Monti from the University of Naples L’Orientale.
In addition to the lead paper, five other contributions from SALIS/ADAPT will be showcased at the summit:
ADAPT will also have a significant presence among the conference keynotes, featuring contributions from Joss Moorkens, Eva Vanmassenhove, a former ADAPT PhD researcher, and Sarah Ebling, a former DCU master’s student.
We extend our congratulations to all teams on their success and look forward to seeing their projects showcased on the international stage this summer at MT Summit 2025. Further details about the conference can be found at https://mtsummit2025.unige.ch.
