ADAPT Hosts Austrian Cooperative Research Delegation at Trinity College Dublin

On 12 May 2025, ADAPT welcomed the Austrian Cooperative Research Delegation to Trinity College Dublin for a collaborative knowledge exchange. The visit brought together 23 participants from ADAPT and 22 representatives from AMBER, the Taighde Éireann – Research Ireland Centre for Advanced Materials and BioEngineering Research.

The meeting was opened by Edmond O’Connor, ADAPT’s Senior Commercialisation Partner, who provided an introduction to ADAPT’s research activities and welcomed the delegation. ADAPT Startup Manager Conor McNally also featured outlining ADAPT’s startup ecosystem as well as providing some case studies for the delegation. The meeting, held in Trinity College Dublin, featured a series of informative sessions aimed at highlighting the research, innovation, and industry engagement underway at Trinity and ADAPT.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, encouraging further discussion and potential avenues for collaboration between the Austrian delegation and the Irish research community. This visit marked a valuable opportunity for mutual learning and partnership-building.
