Science Week is a week-long event celebrating science in our everyday lives. This year’s Science Week will take place from the 7th to the 14th of November with a focus on Creating Our Future, opening a national conversation between the general public, the research community, and policy makers. The ADAPT Centre will host the below events during the week:
Citizens Think-In: Artificial Intelligence – Friend or Foe?
Join the conversation on the impact of technology and AI on society and on our lives at our interactive Think-In. On 11 November 2021 at 6:15pm, ADAPT will explore how we might balance the benefits of AI with the loss of control of our personal information. Workshop: Debunked – How to Tell Fact From Fiction
Feeling overwhelmed with all the information we’re bombarded with daily? Not quite sure how to separate fact from fiction? Join ADAPT’s in person Debunked workshop, 10 November at 6.30pm in Trinity’s Unit 18 to hear some simple steps you can use to arm yourself against misinformation. Register here.
Exhibition: BIAS: BUILT THIS WAY at the Science Gallery Dublin
BIAS: BUILT THIS WAY is an interactive, thought-provoking exploration of preferences, prejudices and digital equity. Researchers from the ADAPT Centre for AI-Driven Digital Content Technology have partnered with artists to co-create a new exhibition at the Science Gallery Dublin.
