Winners will be announced at the Ireland eGovernment Awards & Leadership Summit on 18th September 2025 with the winner’s trophies being presented by An Taoiseach, Michéal Martin TD.
The GenAI Lab explores practical, responsible uses of Gen AI across local government, helping to support better service design, enhanced efficiency, and stronger governance and transparency for citizens and staff.
Speaking about the nomination, Director of ADAPT, Professor John Kelleher, said: “Being shortlisted for this prestigious award recognises the GenAI Lab’s practical, people-centred approach to translating cutting-edge research into real-world solutions, something we pride ourselves on in ADAPT. By co-designing solutions with the project partners we are proving how responsible AI can deliver everyday benefits for local government and citizens alike. We congratulate all the finalists.”
