Location: Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin

Date: 6 Dec – 7 Dec

The 26th Irish Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science will be hosted by the Trinity College Dublin School of Computer Science and Statistics, the School of Psychology and Institute of Neuroscience and will take place at the Trinity Long Room Hub on the TCD Campus, from 6-7th December 2018.

With regular conferences dating back to 1988, the AICS Conference is Ireland’s primary forum for researchers with interests in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science. While once a niche area, the fields of Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence, which encompass Data Analytics, Information Retrieval, and Machine Learning, are now at the forefront of Irish computing research and industry.

Registration is now open. See the Attending page to register. Please note that at least one author for each accepted conference paper must register.

Full tickets 150 euro, student tickets 100 euro. The event is one full day (Thursday) and one half day (Friday) with a conference dinner on the Thursday night.

Thanks to funding from the Embassy of France in Ireland, AICS will be awarding a number of student bursaries to support student participation in AICS. These bursaries will be awarded on a competitive basis covering student registration fees and a contribution towards travel costs. The eligibility criteria are that applicants must be a full-time or part-time student (confirmed by a letter from their supervisor), and must have a presentation accepted at the conference events.
