ADAPT partners with Junior Cycle for Teachers (JCT) in the Department of Education and Skills to co-develop and deliver a series of interdisciplinary workshops for teachers on responsible research and innovation. The interactive workshop series, entitled “Technology, Research and Innovation – The Future!” involves in-depth discussion, dialogue, and deliberation around one of the most significant emerging technologies worldwide: Artificial Intelligence (AI).
ADAPT’s JCT STE(A)M workshops attract teachers from diverse subject areas who are interested in considering AI and its societal challenges and implications in their classrooms so that students will have a better understanding of the role of AI in their lives.
If you are a teacher who would like to get involved, you can register your interest in future ADAPT workshops for teachers by signing up for our mailing list.
