ADAPT researchers are committed to use their expertise and experience to address global challenges such as health and well-being to quality education.
ADAPT establishes links with stakeholders (NGOs, charities, advocacy groups) as Societal Impact Champions and works in a co-creative way to develop research solutions that support and improve the lives of those affected.
The research development team works to identify opportunities for researchers to engage with and apply to ongoing philanthropic funding calls that are relevant to particular areas of research. The team supports philanthropic applications to the Wellcome Trust, Gates Foundation L’Oréal and UNESCO Foundations.
ADAPT researchers have also received philanthropic funding across a range of projects from ” Analysing online bullying in social media and “Digital Constitutionalism”.
