Join us for the Launch of the Age-Friendly AI Training Programme

Join us at Johnston Library Cavan for the Launch of the Age-Friendly AI Workshop Programme

We are delighted to invite you to the official launch of the ‘Age-Friendly AI’ Training Programme, which was designed in partnership with older adults across Ireland.

Age-Friendly AI is Ireland’s national AI literacy initiative for older adults. Funded by Research Ireland and run by the ADAPT Centre and TU Dublin, the training initiative is the result of year-long public dialogue that has highlighted the hopes, concerns and vision of older adults for AI in their lives.

Special guest speaker Niamh Smyth TD, Minister of State at the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment will mark the launch of the Age-Friendly AI training programme. The training will roll out in public libraries across Ireland in 2026 thanks to partnership with the Local Government Management Agency.
