The ADAPT Research Ireland Centre recently welcomed colleagues from the Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies (KInIT) in Bratislava for a collaborative workshop.
The visit focused on advancing LorAI, a six-year Horizon Europe Teaming for Excellence project aimed at upgrading KInIT to a leading European hub in low-resource artificial intelligence (LRAI), specifically in Slovakia.
As an advanced partner on the project, ADAPT contributes expertise and strategic guidance to support KInIT’s growth and long-term research ambitions. The Dublin workshop gave both teams the chance to exchange knowledge, refine goals, and strengthen collaboration. Beyond the working sessions, participants explored Trinity College Dublin’s historic Book of Kells exhibition.
