Sébastien Le Maguer is currrently a Research Fellow in the SIGMEDIA group based in the Trinity College Dublin (TCD).
His research is centered around a fundamental question: what is natural speech? To conduct his research, his work is currently focused around two main axes: speech synthesis evaluation and stuttering speech analysis.
In the past, he was a postdoctoral researcher at Saarland University/DFKH (Germany) where he worked on the integration information density features in speech synthesis and the evaluation of their influence ; at INRIA/IRISA in Rennes (France) where he worked on information retrieval with application on medical context. He did my PhD on parametric speech synthesis evaluation at IRISA/Université de Rennes 1.
