As a PhD student with a mixed background in computing and finance, Rolando is interested in topics related to Semantic Web, Data Integration, Data Quality, Human-Computer Interaction and User Experience (UX). Rolando is highly motivated in facilitating the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies within the user’s workflow while being innovative with the UX.

Rolando is currently working in the D-REAL research topic with regards to “Enhancing a clinician-researchers ability to pull together trusted data at the right time”. This research is kindly sponsored by Sonas Innovation and supported by the Irish Health Service Executive (HSE) Digital Academy.

Rolando is also interested in languages as he is trained in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
