Natália Resende is the Haddad Assistant Professor of Literary and Cultural Translation at the Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation, Trinity College Dublin. She holds an Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Natural Language Processing and a PhD in Psycholinguistics. For more than a decade she has combined teaching and research at the intersection of psycholinguistics, natural language processing, and machine translation.
Natália has secured competitive EU funding, including a Marie Skłodowska‑Curie Individual Fellowship, and her work appears in leading machine‑translation venues such as EAMT, AMTA, and MT Summit. At Trinity, she teaches on the award‑winning MPhil in Literary Translation, leading modules on research methods and technology for literary translation. She welcomes master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral projects that investigate the interface between literary or creative translation and technology.
