Monique Munarini is a Postdoctoral researcher at at the ADAPT centre at Trinity College Dublin. Qualified lawyer, researcher, and policy analyst, she has published award-winning papers on AI governance at leading academic conferences. Her PhD research focused on developing an equity-based framework to evaluate AI auditing methodologies in relation to emerging legislation such as the EU AI Act. She also contributed to global policy debates through her work with Policy stakeholders. She uses her legal and political science expertise to engage with and unify the work of computer scientists, social scientists, legal scholars, and real world practitioners to develop realistic and impactful outcomes in the AI ecosystem.
