Dr Madeleine Steeds is an Assistant Professor in UCD’s School of Information and Communication Studies. They are an academic collaborator in ADAPT and their research focuses on how perceptions and stereotypes of technology can impact cognitive abilities in people. They are particularly interested in the impact of gendered artificial intelligences, and how this may impact wider stereotypical views.
