Dr. Jin Xu is a faculty member at the School of Informatics and Cybersecurity, Technological University Dublin, and an academic collaborator at the ADAPT Centre. His research focuses on biomedical signal processing, trustworthy AI systems, and their integration in healthcare and education. Within ADAPT, he contributes to the development of trustworthy, human-centered AI solutions. He is currently working on explainable, multi-modal AI systems for medical diagnosis and mental fatigue detection using EEG and other biosignals. Dr. Xu collaborates with industry partners including Huawei Ireland, Cisco Galway, and TikTok London, and maintains active research engagements across academia and the healthcare technology sector.
