Elaine Uí Dhonnchadha is an Associate Professor at the School of Linguistic, Speech and Communication Sciences at Trinity College Dublin. Elaine’s research focuses on developing tools and resources essential for keeping the Irish language up-to-date with digital technology. She has pioneered the development of NLP tools and datasets for the Irish language. Currently she is focusing on innovative Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) systems, which include personalisation and accommodations for additional learning needs.
