Dipto Barman is a Research Fellow in Research, Development, and Innovation (RD&I) at Workday, specializing in large language model (LLM) safety and bias mitigation strategies. He earned his Ph.D. from the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin, under the supervision of Professor Owen Conlan (TCD) and Professor Jane Suiter (DCU). His doctoral research focused on combating misinformation on social media through personalized interventions. Prior to his current role, Dipto was an AI researcher at MESO, where he worked on creating AI powered lesson plans. His current research interests include adaptive LLMs, algorithmic bias, and fairness in AI systems.
