Cormac McKenna is the Senior Systems Administrator (SSA) for the ADAPT Centre and Technical Operations (TechOps) Team Lead.
As SSA he is responsible for the planning, management and maintenance of various mission critical infrastructure which span multiple universities including two High Performance Computing clusters, a Virtual Machine Cluster and Docker Container Clusters.
He has planned, developed and implemented ADAPT’s upgrade of their HPC which utilises NVIDIA’s A100 and RTXA6000 GPU’s with 100GB networking capabilities.
Cormac has supported the launch of multiple projects such as virtualtreasury.ie, precisionals.ie, adaptcentre.ie
He holds a BSc Honours in IT Management (2018) and a BSc in Computing in Systems Administration (2017).
