Annika Lindh

PhD student

Annika is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science in TU Dublin, with a previous MSc in Data Analytics where she developed an algorithm for unsupervised feature extraction from multi-wavelength astronomical image data. Her current research focuses on making specific and deliberate improvements to image captioning models from the perspective of human end-users with visual impairments.

Annika has an industry background in software development as well as lecturing and course management. Her core skills are in NLG/NLP and computer vision. She has experience in multiple programming languages including Python, R, C++, Embedded C and Java.
