Abigail is a PhD student at TU Dublin. Her background is in physics, and she has been using machine learning and deep learning to solve classification tasks related cancer diagnostics and prognostics. She works with Infrared hyperspectral images of breast cancer patient tissue biopsies. She is working on an SFI funded project which aims to predict breast cancer recurrence from early stage.
