GDPR Ontology Representation

GDPR Ontology Representation uses Semantic Web Technologies for assisting in GDPR compliance.

The industry is faced with a range of challenges associated with GDPR compliance and poor documentation and compliance protocols can result in  GDPR fines up to 4% of global turnover.  Compliance officers must consider How to ensure activities are compliant?,  How to systematically record processing metadata?  How to retrieve information for past activities? and how to consider compliance questions when modelling activities.

The ADAPT solution is a GDPR consent management framework using semantic web technologies to build a modular framework for recording all relevant metadata that can
be checked for compliance and queried to retrieve the required information. The framework can aid organisations in assessing and demonstrating their compliance efficiently using existing models of provenance, processes, permissions, and obligations.
