Niamh Donnelly, Co-Founder and CTO of Akara, will be among the speakers at Frontier Summit 2026, taking place in Vancouver from the 6th to the 8th October.
This year’s summit, themed “The Inflection Point,” will bring together founders, innovators, investors, policymakers, and technology leaders to explore how advances in AI and emerging technologies are reshaping industries, economies, and society.
Akara Robotics, an ADAPT at Trinity College Dublin spin-out, combines robotics and artificial intelligence to automate hospital disinfection and improve healthcare hygiene standards. Built on more than a decade of research in healthcare automation, the company’s UV decontamination robots help hospitals clean wards and operating theatres more efficiently and consistently. Akara has also announced plans to expand into the US healthcare market and has been recognised in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe rankings.
Frontier Summit 2026 will host 150 hand-selected global leaders for three days of discussion and collaboration focused on the future of technology, innovation, and human potential in an increasingly digital world.
