A delegation from the Innovation and Digitalisation Department of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber visited Dublin last month, with a key stop at the ADAPT Centre to meet ADAPT Director Prof. John Kelleher and the research team.
The visit, coordinated by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, focused on strengthening collaboration and exchanging insights on digital innovation between Ireland and Austria. Discussions centred on shared priorities in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and research-driven industry partnerships.
A central theme of the meeting was preparations and expectations surrounding Ireland’s upcoming Presidency of the European Union Council. Both sides explored how organisations in their respective countries are positioning themselves for the Presidency, particularly in areas such as policy development, digital regulation, and cross-border cooperation.
The engagement provided an opportunity to align perspectives and identify potential avenues for future collaboration, reinforcing ties between Austrian and Irish stakeholders in the digital and innovation ecosystem.
