ADAPT’s Executive Director Declan McKibben took part in the Eolas AI Forum 2025 recently 6 November) in Dublin. The conference brings together thought leaders from across Ireland’s public sector, academia, and industry to explore how artificial intelligence is transforming public services, business, and society.
In his talk, Declan spoke about “AI for Local Government: Combining Cutting-Edge Research with Real-World Needs”. His presentation highlighted how ADAPT’s research and innovation are supporting local authorities in harnessing AI responsibly and effectively to address community challenges and improve public services.
Organised by Eolas Magazine, the AI Forum has quickly become a key event in Ireland’s technology and policy calendar, providing a national platform for discussion on ethical, sustainable, and impactful uses of AI.
