Working with a senior academic in the Centre and supported by the EU Research Manager and ADAPT Office Manager, the intern will assist in:
- Support the development and roll out of a Centre-wide survey
- Supporting the wider activities of the GEDI working group
- gathering information on programmes for gender equality in research/university environments
- Developing best practise guidelines
The student will gain experience of initiatives around gender equality in the university/research sector, analysing gaps and seeking out solutions developed for this environment, how research environments are organised and structured. They will gain specific expertise in conducting a survey across an SFI Research Centre on issues relating to Gender, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.
The intern will be working with the ADAPT Gender Equality Diversity and Inclusion Committee and reporting to Prof. Naomi Harte, but also working closely with Dr. Máire Brophy (EU Research Manager) and Monica Lechea (Office Manager).
The position is available for 3 months, to start as soon as possible. This is a paid position with a stipend of €1,200/month
